Heritage Fest to Kick-Off the Fall Season

 

The South Holland Historical Society will host its annual Heritage Fest on September 7, 10am-4pm at the Paarlberg Farm Park in South Holland. The event is open to all ages, residents, and non-residents. 

The land where the event will be held is farmland that dates back to the 1840s. The celebration will feature a tour of a house built in 1870, food vendors, craft vendors, locally produced honey, a Farmers Market, line dancing, a quilters raffle, and lots of Dutch treats.

Cunis Candy and Ice Cream, the South Suburban Wood Turners, and various local Historical Societies will also be in attendance.
