Concert in the Park- The Chicago Blues Lifters

Experience the energy and soul of Chicago blues with the Chicago Blues Lifters. Blending authentic blues traditions with contemporary sounds, they perform hits by legends such as Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Rogers, and more.

This FREE concert is part of our Ravinia-style Concert in the Park series. Ravinia-style means attendees may bring their own chairs/blankets, food and drink, similar to the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park. There will be no seating set up for the concert.

Date: Friday, July 17, 2026
Time: 7-9pm (Gates open at 6pm)
Location: Veterans Memorial Park, 500 E 160th Place
Tickets: FREE

Food will be available for purchase from food trucks.

GUIDELINES:

Bring: Chairs, tables, blankets and as much food and beverages as you want. The concession stand will not be open for this event. Food is also available for purchase at food trucks.

Do Not Bring: Firearms, tents, pets, grills, fire pits, or umbrellas larger than 5 feet in diameter.

Security: For your safety and the safety of all our guests, all items brought into the park (including, without limitation, coolers, picnic baskets, bags, backpacks and purses) are subject to search upon entry.

ENTRY:
-There will be one entry gate at Veterans Park, located at the west lot (near the playground)
-Gates open at 6pm

Free parking is available at:
- First Reformed Church - 15924 South Park Ave
- Handicap Parking - Veterans Memorial Park west lot\
-New Municipal parking lots at Louis Ave and E 161st St (behind SoHo Shops)
