- Business Development – Supports new and existing businesses to broaden the tax base and generate sales tax revenues, reducing the burden on residents.
The Village currently receives more revenue from sales tax than from property taxes, making business growth vital to long-term stability. The Treasurer also advises the Village Board on incentives that encourage new development.
