The Recreational Services Department is accepting applications for a Full-Time Supervisor of Facility Maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum Associates degree in a related field from an accredited college preferred. A minimum of three to five years working in a maintenance field as well as a minimum of three to five years of management experience required. Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO), or Certified Pool and Spa Operator (CPO) preferred, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry preferred.

Essential Functions:
Under the general direction and supervision of the Director of Recreational Services, the Supervisor of Facility Maintenance is responsible for independently conducting the day to day operational management and implementation of all assignments pertaining to maintenance, housekeeping and overall cleaning for the Department of Recreational Services. This position involves the supervision, education and training of maintenance staff on proper maintenance and cleaning procedures. A successful candidate has the ability to initiate, plan and implement all necessary routine maintenance services, daily work lists and checklists to ensure that maintenance goals are being accomplished. This position requires developing an annual maintenance plan and budget as well as the responsibility to maintain all appropriate records, agreements, contracts, proposals, reports, and expense summaries. An ideal candidate is involved with assisting and delegating staff needed as support for recreational activities and special events. The maintenance division includes the maintenance of the aquatic center, therefore a successful candidate must be able to coordinate maintenance of pool and whirlpool including cleaning, temperature checks, and water chemistry testing as well as supervise full time and part time maintenance staff including, staff meetings, hiring, scheduling, work duty lists, and time sheets.

SALARY: $27.86/hour with generous benefits including but not limited to health, vision, dental and life insurance.
