Toters:
Yard waste pick-up has resumed on April 1. Blue toters with blue lids may only be used for yard waste. Please remember to separate yard waste from household garbage.
Village ordinance prohibits household garbage and waste toters to be placed in front of a residence. The stored toters must be placed behind the building line of the property and should not be placed in an area where odors may cause a nuisance for neighbors. All waste receptacles should be placed in an area least likely to be a nuisance.
Also, Village ordinance states that no garbage cans or toters can be placed at the street or alley before 4:00pm the day before scheduled garbage pickup, and empty receptacles must be returned to their storage area by 8:00pm on garbage pickup day.
Branch Pick-Up:
Branch pick-up has resumed on April 1. Please trim branches to lengths of 4 feet. They will be picked up on the day after your regular garbage day. No need to call.
Street Sweeper:
The Street Sweeper is out keeping our roads clean. If you notice the street sweeper in your neighborhood, try to remove cars from the curb that day so the sweeper can clean as much of the street as possible.
