Maicach Park
This 8 acre park is located in the south central part of town near 165th Street and Drexel Avenue.
Originally named "Arrowhead Park", this park was renamed Maicach Park in 1989 to honor South Holland firefighter Douglas P. Maicach, who died in the line of duty.
This park includes playground areas, a ball field, a pavilion, permanent and portable toilets, drinking fountains, and a 1 mile gravel jogging/walking path. This park, divided by a natural stream, is linked by a small foot bridge.
