Artists at the South Holland Community Center, located at 501 E 170th Street, display a unique collection of oils, watercolors, chalk, pencil, photographs, pottery, sculpture, miniature works of art and more.
Showcase Classics will present the 21st Annual South Holland Car Show at Veterans Park.
Registration begins at 8am at the park. Professional judging. "Best of Show" Trophy and Top 3 trophies for each class. Great food,
entertainment, swap meet, and door prizes. FREE parking for cars and trailers. Show registration is $20 the morning of the show.

Presented by the South Holland Historical Society at Paarlberg Historical Farm - 172nd Place and Paxton Avenue. History buffs will appreciate Paarlberg farm, settled in 1847 by the Widow Antje Paarlberg, who is fictionalized in the novel "So Big" by Edna Ferber. Enjoy historical tours, pioneer craft displays, antiques and ethnic food. Enjoy a variety of entertainment including the McKinley School choir, a magic show, and old-fashioned games. Midwest Carvers and South Suburban Heritage Quilters Guild will demonstrate. Civil War re-enactments and performances by the Thornwood High School Stomp Group and the Calvin School Alumni Band. The South Holland Municipal Band will close the day with a grand performance.
