The South Holland Code Enforcement Department recently created new guidelines and licensing practices for In-Home Day Cares in conjunction with the South Holland Fire Department and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

These guidelines create easy reference to any current or potential Home Day Care provider. They are designed to answer questions on how to maintain a Home Day Care within the Village of South Holland.

An annual license is required and inspections are performed by our Village staff to verify compliance with the South Holland Home Day Care Ordinance
