The Village of South Holland Memorial Tree Fund now makes it possible for everyone to share in the exciting project of supplementing the planting of trees where needed in the village parks. The "Tree Fund" is a separate fund, established to purchase and plant trees in the parks. The need to plant trees continues and contributions to the fund allow a great number of trees to be planted. The donation of a tree is a living memorial to your loved ones. A tree, approximately 2" to 3" in diameter and 10' to 15' tall costs about $250.00 depending on the type of tree. All donations are tax deductible and a receipt is furnished as well as a memorial certificate upon request.
