Community Center Endowment Fund The Village of South
Holland has constructed a 50,000 sq. foot Community Center on the North side of Thornwood
High School's campus on land purchased by the Village. The building contains meeting
rooms, offices, pool, gym, Fitness Center, pre-school, nursery, media room, locker rooms,
sauna, kitchen, and whirlpool.
The Community Center Endowment Committee has been established to allow residents and businesses the opportunity to take ownership of the building through their participation and to help underwrite a part of the cost of individual rooms. The lobby of the Community Center will showcase a stunning 12 X 12 ft. Tree of Life display. This display will be a visual representation of donations made by residents and businesses to enhance the Community Center. There are various options for you to consider when donating. The room can be named after you or your organization in appreciation of the donation. This donation will be reflected on the Tree of Life as well.
