ARTISTS' GALLERY

South Holland Artists at the South Holland Community Center located at 501 E 170th Street display a unique collection of oils, watercolors, chalk, pencil, photographs, pottery, sculpture and miniature works of art.
Artists will be present to discuss their work.  Student art will be included in the gallery.

ANNUAL CAR SHOW
AND SWAP MEET
8:00am - 4:00pm
Showcase Classics will present the 16th Annual Car Show at Paarlberg Park.
Registration begins at 8am at the park. Professional judging. "Best of Show" Trophy and Top 3 trophies for each class. Food, entertainment, swap meet, and prizes. FREE parking for cars and trailers. Show registration is $20 the morning of the show.

BOCCE TOURNAMENT

Annual Bocce Tournament.

Block the streets, we're going to party! Come to Paarlberg Park for the Village's Largest Block Party! Gather your friends, relatives and neighbors, and meet at Paarlberg Park. Good conversations, picnic dining, Mayor De Graff and the Trustees will be on hand to encourage the participants in all the activities.

In case of rain, the service will be held at First Reformed Church.

Monday - September 3

PAARLBERG HERITAGE FEST
9:30am to 4:00pm

Presented by the South Holland Historical Society at Paarlberg Historical Farm - 172nd Place and Paxton Avenue.
History buffs will appreciate Paarlberg farm, settled in 1847 by the Widow Antje Paarlberg, who is fictionalized in the novel "So Big" by Edna Ferber.  Enjoy historical tours, pioneer craft displays, antiques, ethnic food, and entertainment.  Midwest Carvers and South Suburban Heritage Quilters Guild will demonstrate. The Klompen Dancers will perform. Civil War re-enactments and the South Holland Municipal Band will close the day with a grand performance.
This is an event for the entire family!
