A showing of over 150 pieces of art, presented for three days during Heritage Festival on Labor Day week end. Over 45 South Holland artists will exhibit. The Artists' Gallery will be established at the South Holland Community Center located at 501 E. 170th Street.
Opening night is Thursday, August 30. South Holland artists will present a unique collection of oils, water colors, chalk, colored pencil, icons, pottery, photographs, and miniatures. Many of the artists will be in attendance, available to discuss their methods, their art pieces and answer questions.
South Holland student artists have been invited to display art pieces in the Artists' Gallery. Some of these students have won awards for their artwork they are exhibiting. Student Art always makes any interesting showing.
Come visit and stay awhile....you will be surprised and delighted as you browse the gallery. After browsing,...stop for your favorite flavored coffee and bagel at Dunkin Donuts; if ice cream is your passion then Cunis Candies and Ice Cream Shop is for you. Starbucks has their fraps and Biscotti and all locations are just a short drive from the Community Center.
