Tickets are $25 at the Community Center, which includes VIP entrance, suite level seating, all you can eat (hot dogs, hamburgers, salad, dessert and soft drinks) and free parking.

The Board approved Building Permits No. 2004-621 through 2004-691 representing $739,000 of investment in the community. Included in those permits, according to Trustee DeYoung, is work at Truck-O-Mat, Lagestee-Mulder Insurance Company and new painting for VanDyne/Crotty, Inc., an apparel solutions company on State Street.

A resident expressed concern over the trains sitting idle for long periods of time. Although, he acknowledged the situation has gotten better. He urged the village to keep the lines of communication open with train officials. "This is not a new problem for South Holland," said Village President Don A. De Graff. "We have in the past and will continue in the future to work with the railroads." A meeting was being arranged with the Village administration and officials from Canadian National for the month of July.
